I have tried all advised types of TCP/IP connection but still can't be connected.

For corporate users:
Please consult your BES administrator to clarify following moments:
WDBV is using port 8686 (TCP/IP connection) by default or the port you selected in desktop software. Perhaps, this port is blocked.
Try to change port value in desktop server settings.
For standalone users:
Please contact your carrier in order to specify the following:
Which tariff plan is the optimal for using third-party applications;
Which settings are proper for working with TCP/IP connection;
You should denote following parameters to your carrier:
The tariff you're currently using;
Your device parameters;
Application parameters: it works either through selected port (8686 default ) for TCP/IP connection. Perhaps, these port  is blocked.

Alternatively you can use WAP connection type as BB transport in application settings, if you have WAP parameters recorded in your service book. For this information you should contact your carrier. You can find WAP-settings for your wireless carrier here.

5.

"Could not open Tunnel" error appears ?

This error message means that you have some connectivity problems. There are different ways to solve this problem:
For standalone users:
First of all check TCP/IP settings on your device. You can find correct settings here or get this information at your carrier.
Mobile Data Service must be enabled on BES.
For users connected via BES:
Mobile Data Service should be enabled on BES. If your BES meets these requirements, the reason may be that you do not have an appropriate IPPP service book entry synchronized to your handheld. The current list of service book entries can be viewed in "Options". You may need to consult your BES administrator for help in synchronizing an appropriate service book entry.
Try to set BES/MDS as connection transport option in application settings.
For Nextel subscribers:
Try to set Direct TCP as connection transport option in application settings.
Try to connect in a few days. There can be a delay of 1-5 days from the order of Web plan to the time when full data services work on your device. You should also perform a hard reset of your BlackBerry including the removing of the battery from your device for a short period of time.
For 7520 device users:
You might have occasionally pressed "Esc" button (on the side of your handset, below the track wheel) while using WDBV. Now you should hard reset your BlackBerry including removal of the battery from your device for a short period of time. Please avoid using "Esc" button while syncing data using WDBV.
6.

When trying to install the application a message "No additional applications designed for your handheld were found" appears

This problem happens because you are using not actual version of the Desktop Manager. You should install at least v4.1 with service pack 1
(can be downloaded from BlackBerry site).

The installation of this service pack makes possible to download and successfully install third party applications on your device.

In order to work around this problem the user should completely uninstall the outdated Desktop Manager (to fulfill "clean" uninstallation) with subsequent installation of Desktop Manager v4.1 (or higher) Service Pack 1.

Check installation archive. alx file should be present in it.
If you have already installed WDBV earlier, WDBV modules are listed in your Desktop manager. Please delete WDBV modules from this list and then add new version to it.
